Skaha Thunder

We would like to extend a big welcome to anyone interested in joining the newest dragon boat team in the Penticton area.   Skaha Thunder was established in 2020 as a team who works as hard at paddling as at having fun. We have a tremendous passion for the sport and want to share our love with anyone interested in trying the sport.   We welcome new paddles with and without experience.   We strive to be the best we can be at any given moment.  We work hard and play hard. Come try paddling with us and see why we are a boatload of fun while we work hard.

In 2020 a storm brewed over Skaha Lake. It created a Dragon Boat team of fierce, powerful women who harvested the strength of the storm. The Thunder is their power at the start; the lightening represents the electrifying force within each stroke. The rainbow after the storm represents the joy, friendships and empowerment of willful women.
