Flying Dragons

The Flying Dragons dragon boat team is the first special needs dragon boat team in Canada! The group practices at the Skaha Lake  Boathouse , once per week (Tuesday’s, 4:00-5:30pm). during the Summer season.

  • $5 drop in /session

Our mission with this program is to provide social sporting opportunities to individuals of all ages, who are affected by learning disabilities, autism, down-syndrome, developmental delays, behavioral challenges, and various other mental, and physical, handicaps. In addition to weekly practice, the team also completes two exhibition races at the annual Penticton Dragonboat Festival. We look forward to having fun out there on the Lake!
