The 25th annual Penticton Dragon Boat Festival will be held on September 12 & 13, 2026.
Held over two days on the second weekend in September, the racing happens on Skaha Lake in beautiful, sunny Penticton, British Columbia, Canada.
Our vendors market, food trucks and beverage garden will be back. Plus the best festival site in BC — a sandy beach and a race that’s visible for the entire race course — and a large grassy area under the trees for team tents.

Out of town teams registered before the Early Bird Deadline for PDBF are invited to come and train for free using our boats and equipment any weekend throughout the Summer.

Race Fees & Deadlines
Earlybird:
- Deadline: July 1, 2026
- Fees: $1440.00 (incl gst)
Regular:
- Deadline: August 24, 2026
- Fees: $1566.00 (incl gst)
*Junior Teams: Half price
+ International Teams – $750 as a refundable deposit
Festival Cancellation/Refund Policy: There will be a 15% administrative fee for all withdrawals. The final date to withdraw a team from the festival is August 24, 2026. There will be no refunds of any type after this date, including if the festival is cancelled due to safety reasons and/or weather conditions.
